These drawings will, hopefully, be published in The Passenger's upcoming first ish, illustrating Ryan's facebook article. These were kinda due before Thanksgiving, so much kudos and thanks to Felipe's forgiving and tireless patience. I really struggled with this, not liking the idea at all, but two months worth of agonizing anxiety and thought made me more comfortable with it-- and I think it turned out kinda nice. It was a little surprising to see (but then again, completely not suprising at all) that my go at a comic book shows my unabashed love for the lumpy detail of Don Rosa's duck comics.

Interesting fact of the day: Today my dad showed me the trophy that Broken Lizard's The Dukes of Hazzard will use for the big huzzah race at the end. He's gotta engrave "the 70th annual Hazzard Cup -- 1st Place" on it or something; this whole city has gotten crazy over this movie being filmed here and naturally my parents have gotten swept into it. Jessica Simpson's wardrobe designer bought one of my mom's designed necklaces too, so who knows? Hannon Jewelers might be making its first foray into the motion pictures! And apparently Jessica Simpson is a mighty bitch, but I don't think anybody was too shocked by that. And I swear I saw Herbie the Lovebug driving in my friend's neighborhood (white bug complete with blue and red vertical racing stripe and giant number 53)... Baton Rouge gets stranger every day...

Nothing to see here, just testing a few things, nothing to see...

Oh, just poking around, mixing things up a bit. The "scribe" skin here seemed very ... uh, danish to me. Copenhagen's brown, right? Class schedule set, dorm number assured (room 233), gloves purchased. More on the way...
